Pascal Lamia is the head of the Reporting and Analysis Center for Information Assurance MELANI run by the Swiss government. He is also head of the Swiss Government CERT (GovCERT.ch) and is a lecturer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Art as well as the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Before that, between 2000 and 2008, he worked as an information security officer at the Federal IT Steering Unit (FITSU). He started his professional career in 1988 as a network engineer at Telekurs AG. He then joined „Die Mobiliar” where he worked as a software engineer until he started to work for the FITSU in 2000.

Dr. Alain Gut is Director Public Sector at IBM Switzerland after having been Director of Software Group Switzerland and Austria and Member of the Executive Board Switzerland. Before that from 2008 until 2009 he was Head of Global Consulting Practice Switzerland and Member of the Management Team and Head of Global Consulting Practice Privat Banking Europe at Tata Consultancy Services Switzerland. From 2002 until 2008 Alain Gut was Manager Financial Services at Microsoft Switzerland. From 2001 until 2002 he was Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Executive Management Board of A&A Actienbank, Zurich. From 1994 to 2001 he held different senior management positions in Region Europe and Region Switzerland at UBS AG. From 1998 to 1999 he was also in charge of all integration projects, resulting from the merger of UBS and SBC, for Region Zurich. Before that from 1988 to 1994 he was Sales Manager for Stock Exchanges and Interbank Organizations at DEC Digital Equipment Corporation AG, Zurich. Alain Gut holds a degree and a Ph.D. in business administration and computer science from the University of Zurich and attended the Program for Executive Development (PED) at IMD Lausanne. Alain Gut is member of the board of Swico, ICTswitzerland and ICT Berufsbildung Schweiz and member of many boards, associations and advisory boards related to education in informatics. Since March 2014 he is president of the board of Swiss Cyber Experts a public private partnership with the Swiss Government.
